One decision and they got what was due to them – pieces of trash. Ever since the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi , in a televised address to the nation said … “t o break the grip of corruption and black money, we have decided that the five hundred rupee and thousand rupee currency notes presently in use will no longer be legal tender from midnight tonight, that is 8th November 2016” there has been a sense of joy and jubilation among the masses, save a few intellectuals who went to the town doubting and questioning the move, specifically in curbing corruption and black money. Let me cite one example to explain my understanding of how the current demonetisation will help curb corruption and blackmoney. Implementation of Seventh CPC Recommendations Revised Pay and Arrears to be paid in August 2016 Implementation Cell, 7th CPC  under Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Govt of India vide  OM No 1-5/2016-IC dated 29th July, 2016  issued instructions regarding fixation of pay and payment of arrears in accordance with the Department of Expenditure’s  Resolution No. 1-2/2016-IC dated 25.07.2016 , bringing out decisions of the Government on the recommendations of the 7th Central Pay Commission and consequent promulgation of the Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016, notified vide  G.S.R No. 721(E) dated 25th July, 2016  regarding fixation of pay in the revised pay structure effective from 01.01.2016.
